Join The Moth in our galleries for an evening of extraordinary storytelling on Thursday, January 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Moth is a celebrated nonprofit dedicated to the art of true, personal storytelling, hosting events worldwide where people share their experiences on stage without notes. At this open mic StorySLAM, attendees selected at random will share their personal experiences with UFOs and paranormal phenomena, the unknown, and mysteries of the universe. Come ready to share in storytelling! This StorySLAM is presented in conjunction with our current exhibition, Voice of Space: UFOs and Paranormal Phenomena, which explores profound mysteries at the intersections of human experience, belief, and the unknown. As declassified government reports and increasing media attention bring the potential for extraterrestrial activity into the spotlight, the exhibition examines the cultural, psychological, and metaphysical dimensions of this topic—asking what role UFOs and paranormal phenomena play in shaping our understanding of the universe and how they challenge or expand our beliefs about humanity's place within it. Wine will be served. Tickets are donation-based with a $1 minimum.
