The M-52 chino trousers, a masterpiece of the French army, rivaling the popularity of the M-47, were bottoms adopted in the 50s and 60s, featuring a relaxed hip area with two tucks and a silhouette that tapers gently towards the hem.

This time, ALMW BY WAIPER Army by WAIPER has recreated the M-52 from their perspective.

The fabric uses extra-long staple Supima cotton from the United States, and is a 15oz WAIPER original selvedge denim made on old looms in Okayama Prefecture, the holy land of denim. The surface has a luster, and you can enjoy beautiful aging as you wear it, with the soft and supple comfort unique to Supima cotton.

While maintaining the details of the M-52 pants, such as the relaxed silhouette with two tucks, a deep rise, a button fly, and back pockets with flaps, you can also enjoy the fading of selvedge denim.

You can experience a very soft feel even though it's rigid, so we recommend that you break in the denim from its rigid state. It's an item that can be paired with a wide range of styles, from classic sneakers like New Balance and Converse to dress shoes.
