Yom Kippur Services in ASL
10am - 12:30pm: Yom Kippur Morning Service and Yom Kippur Kid's Service. 3:00 - 3:45pm: Meditation. The Jewish Path of Teshuvah ~ Forgiveness. 3:45 - 4:45pm: Circle of Memories. In memory of loved ones who are no longer with us. This is a tradition at the Shul of New York, as we share memories of family members and friends who have departed throughout the year. Please feel free to bring a photo or an artifact that has special meaning to you. 4:45 - 5:00pm: Yizkor Service. We will conclude the Circle of Memories with the Yizkor service lead by Rabbi Eva. 5:00 - 6:00pm: The Sounds of the Shul. Join Adam and the Shul Band as we to sing our favorite Shul melodies. 6:00pm: Ne’ila and Concluding Evening Service. As the gates close on Yom Kippur, we gather together in reciting the final prayers. Each person will have an opportunity to stand before the Torah and privately share their prayers. We mark the conclusion of Yom Kippur evening service with the final blast of the Shofar. All are welcome to bring their own shofar and join Rabbi Eva for a final Tekiyah Gadola.172
