Wagner College Theatre presents Pippin
Wagner College Theater has magic to do this season, starting with the whimsical and delightfully dark Broadway classic, PIPPIN. Directed and choreographed by WCT Professor and Head of Dance Rusty Curcio, PIPPIN will take audiences on a fanciful tale of magic, mayhem, and a hero’s journey to self-discovery. Written by Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz, the show premiered in 1972, winning acclaim for Bob Fosse’s iconic direction and choreography. PIPPIN follows the story of a young prince who is searching for his own “corner of the sky.” Guided by the Leading Player and her traveling performance troupe, Pippin faces bloody battles, lusty sexual entanglements, and savvy political maneuvers, soon discovering that true happiness is more complicated than he thought. WCT is thrilled to announce that the evening performance of PIPPIN on Saturday, October 7th will feature Professional ASL Interpretation from All Hands In Motion. For that performance we're offering a 10% off coupon code: WCT23-24. For more information contact the Box Office at 718-390-3259 and boxoffice@wagner.edu.
