Join us this Friday for an inspiring session with Tamara Morgan, the Adaptive Design Association’s Community Partnerships Coordinator, who summited Kilimanjaro in a chair-trekker adapted by the Adaptive Design Association team, custom-fit to her 3’2″ frame (owing to osteogenesis imperfecta, aka “brittle bone condition”). Her journey is more than a mountain climb. It’s about determination, inclusive design, meaningful collaboration, and redefining limits.
Tamara's chair-trekker, known as the Trekker KT is currently on display at the FIT Art and Design Gallery's exhibition, Adapt/Evolve: A Cross-Disciplinary Exploration of Adaptive and Inclusive Design - which closes Sunday October 26th.
