Actress Treshelle Edmond’s “Light Up Within” One-Woman Show debuts her personal story as a Black Deaf woman reflecting on the communication barriers she’s overcome while piecing together her new identity. Treshelle leads us on a musical and poetic journey performed in American Sign Language (ASL) and Spoken English. A deeply personal insight of her tragedy experienced at the height of her career on Broadway. Sharing her passion through music to break free the chains that bind us all. This is Broadway commemorates her 70th Annual Tony Nominated Spring Awakening Cast Performance on screens everywhere! Super Bowl XLIX nationally broadcast Treshelle’s American SIgn Language (ASL) performance of The National Anthem with Idina Menzel and America the Beautiful with John Legend. She’s appeared on The Today show with Recording Artist Ingrid Michaelson performing hit single “Hell No” music video. Special Guest on Late Night w/Seth Spring Awakening Cast Performance. Featured Actress Netflix’ Master of None, House, M.D., and Glee. Off-Broadway theater credits include The Colored Museum, Another Kind of Silence, and What Came After. Her comedic talent shined on cult classic Jay and Silent Bob: Reboot feature as the lovechild and Girl Gang member. Loved by ComicCon fans internationally.
