Refiguring The Future, an exciting new initiative from the REFRESH collective in collaboration with Eyebeam and Hunter College Art Galleries, Refiguring the Future is an exhibition (Feb. 8-Mar. 31) and 2-day conference (Feb. 9-10) that begin with inclusion as a starting point for pursuing sustainable artistic and curatorial practices
Participants in the conference will address concepts of world-building, ecologies, disability and accessibility, biotechnology and the body.
The exhibition will present works from an amazing roster of artists including Zach Blas’s "Contra-Internet Inversion Practice #3: Modeling Paranodal Space" and Morehshin Allahyari’s "She Who Sees the Unknown: The Laughing Snake".
