Lincoln Center Presents- Black History Is for Everyone: Voices of a People's History
This February performance of Voices of a People's History takes its inspiration from the new book Black History Is for Everyone, written by New York Public Library educator Brian Jones. Black History challenges our understanding of race, nation, and the stories we tell about who we are. Understanding it challenges our assumptions, helps us see larger forces at work, and gives us glimpses of alternate futures. Artists to be announced soon; narrated by Brian Jones.
