Join us for Interpreting MoMA, our free program for Deaf adults, featuring a private gallery talk with sign-language interpretation of the exhibition "Greater New York" at MoMA PS1, MoMA’s contemporary art affiliate in Queens.
We'll start the evening with check-in and time to socialize. This will be followed by a tour of the special exhibition "Greater New York," MoMA PS1’s signature survey of artists living and working in the New York City area. We will consider the ways that artists record experiences of belonging and estrangement, drawing connections across the interdisciplinary practices of international and intergenerational artists, and examining the many ways that affinities are formed in relation to place and through time. Voiced English will be interpreted into ASL.
5:15 p.m. - Check-in and social time at MoMA PS1
6:00 p.m. - Tour and gallery conversation, in the "Greater New York" exhibition
