Interpreting a Jewish Funeral/Interpreting a Jewish Wedding
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS VIRTUAL. Due to the fact that Jewish funerals are usually last minute, within a day or two, it is often a struggle to find an interpreter This workshop will help you feel more comfortable with the liturgy of a Jewish funeral, so you can help alleviate families’ stress. It’s also often hard to find interpreters willing to interpret Jewish weddings and those who do are often still nervous about the Hebrew portions. Come get more comfortable so Deaf family and friends can participate in a simcah (joyous event)!!
