From Affordable Housing to Bike Lanes: How Can Big Change Happen in New York City?
Debates about how to make New York City more affordable, inclusive, and livable, are happening all around us. This year’s symposium--named for Henry Street’s founder--will address the economic, political, and cultural challenges and opportunities involved in making transformative change in our nation’s largest city. Panelists will address how big decisions are made, the legacies of past mayoral administrations, and how housing, childcare, transportation, and the arts can serve everyone.
