Creating A Community of Allies for LGBTQ Asylum Seekers
Noah Elias Habeeb, Director of the ARK Immigration Clinic at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, will join us to share how a congregation has stepped up to organize a source of sanctuary for immigrants and refugees in our city. CBST focuses on supporting LGBTQIA+ immigrants and asylum seekers by training volunteers and attorneys to assist with asylum and work permit applications, translation, accompaniment, and direct support for our immigrant neighbors.
