ASL DrawNow! In-person! with Joyce Hom and Nic Annette Miller on Christine Sun Kim
Join teaching artists Joyce Hom and Nic Annette Miller for an in-person participatory drawing workshop. Featuring the work by artist Christine Sun Kim from the group exhibition Drawing in the Continuous Present which highlights the drawings of 13 artists from 10 countries. The drawing activity will explore Christine Sun Kim's drawings and mural about "translating" and the experience of communicating in American Sign Language and English through an interpreter as an echo. Materials will be provided. Please note this in-person workshop will be in ASL with no voice interpretation. It is free and open with registration to the Deaf and signing community.
