VOCA is excited to announce its first special holiday event - A sneak peek of A RAISIN IN THE SUN by Lorraine Hansberry from December 24th thru 27th, 2020. We will present our short film of A RAISIN IN THE SUN directed by Michelle Banks and Nayte Paxton. Deaf cast: Evon Black, Kojo Amissah, Tanisha Russell, Wade Green, and Dorian Fletcher. The story portrays an African-American family, the Youngers, who strives for an Ameican Dream while living in Chicago The family receives an insurance check from the deceased father, Big Walter and now they must make an important decision about what to do with it. "A Raisin in the Sun" is presented by special arrangements with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatericals Company.
