Please join us for MoMA’s bimonthly program welcoming individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing to participate in an ASL-interpreted private gallery talk focusing on one of our exhibitions, along with a wine and snack reception. In January we will explore the exhibition Vital Signs: Artists and the Body with curator Lanka Tattersall. The international, cross-generational group of artists in this exhibition use depictions of the body to address the question of what it means to be an individual within society—and how socially sustained categories of gender, race, and identity are rooted in abstraction.
