Dance Storytime with Maria Torres
Presented in collaboration with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Join choreographer, dance educator, and Latin jazz pioneer Maria Torres and the Jerome Robbins Dance Division of the Library for the Performing Arts for a Storytime focusing on the music and dancing styles of Puerto Rico. Rhythms and books combine for an activity that the whole family can enjoy. Participants will listen to a story and have the chance to get up and try out their moves! Lincoln Center celebrates summer in New York City as our free Storytime series returns to The Garden at Damrosch Park—and this year due to popular demand, we have scheduled a second event every Wednesday! Curated by The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, this Storytime event presents a children's book reading with live dance incorporated to keep kids of all ages enraptured and engaged! If you have any questions about this event, please contact Guest Experience at 212-875-5456 or guestexperience@lincolncenter.org.
