Swans, sword fights, and toreadors will take center stage as ABTKids comes to the Metropolitan Opera House. Hosted by ABT Principal Dancer James Whiteside, ABTKids provides a narrated hour-long introduction to ballet for children ages 5-12 and their families. All seats for ABTKids are priced at $25. This season’s ABTKids performance will serve up bite-sized excerpts of works from ABT’s Summer season including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Romeo and Juliet.
