Brooklyn CaringKind Alzheimer's Walk
Today more than 500,000 New York City residents either have Alzheimer’s or are taking care of someone who does. CaringKind is New York City’s leading expert on Alzheimer’s and dementia caregiving. To support our work, we reach out to the community each year at the CaringKind Alzheimer’s Walk. The Walk is CaringKind’s largest community fundraising – and awareness raising – event of the year. It embraces all of New York City, and our goal is to raise $500,000 for our programs and services, which are provided free of charge to New Yorkers who need them. Sign language will be provided during the full program. An event both celebratory and emotional, Walkers come together every year to: • Honor a loved one in a public display of camaraderie and action • Raise critical funds to ensure that the next family affected by Alzheimer’s is supported • Learn about CaringKind programs and the services of our partners. Sign up today at www.caringkindnyc.org/walk.
