On March 25th, 1911 the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire took the lives of 146 young workers, most of them immigrant women and girls, and galvanized a movement for social and economic justice. On the 110th anniversary of the fire we will gather on Zoom for a program of workers speaking out for their rights, stories of the Triangle fire, the family members and the 1982 Chinatown garment workers strike. We close with 146 workers, organizers, artists, compassionate public servants, teachers + students holding the names. ASL interpreted. Simulcast in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin) + Italian
