In this workshop you will get to explore what the Root Chakra is all about - the energy, patterns & consciousness associated with the chakra & what we need to do to maintain balance in our Root. This workshop will include pranayama (breath work) & a gentle to moderate (mostly seated) yoga flow with poses that help to balance & heal the Root Chakra. After the asanas, we will have a discussion about how we work with the Root Chakra in our day to day lives. The workshop will conclude with a guided meditation in Savasana (final resting pose) to help you find your roots. This workshop will leave you feeling grounded & knowledgeable about your roots & how to care for your foundation! Mats will be provided. ASL will be used.
