Language is so much more than the spoken word – it is about the desire to communicate our thoughts and feelings, hopes, and frustrations. MAC convenes a panel to discuss the experience of communicating in the arts and cultural sector. Our panelists will address the breadth of language use, from visual descriptive language for people with low-vision to interpretive programs for the Deaf community. By the end of this session, attendees will be prepared to assess how they use language in their programs and get connected to resources for making their programs more accessible.
