Cheng-Harrell Open Night at Frick Madison
Cheng-Harrell Open Nights feature after-hours museum and reading room access, gallery talks, sketching, and live music. The series kicks off with a celebration of Pride Month inspired by our ongoing installation project "Living Histories: Queer Views and Old Masters." The event will include a special panel discussion moderated by Xavier F. Salomon, Deputy Director and Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator, and featuring writer and cultural critic Roxane Gay along with Living Histories artists Jenna Gribbon, Doron Langberg, Toyin Ojih Odutola, and Salman Toor. The panel will also be livestreamed with CART captioning, and ASL interpretation will be provided in-person for the gallery talks and panel discussion.
