This virtual conversation, which continues Casting Society's "Commitment to Equity in Entertainment in Casting Initiative,” will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 3:30pm PST/6:30pm EST/9:30pm GMT.
This conversation continues CSA’s commitment to providing open forums to connect casting director members with underrepresented artists and creatives.
This webinar will address accessibility and ethics surrounding the casting process for D/deaf/Hard of Hearing (HoH) actors and creative professionals.
An esteemed panel of accessibility coordinators, actors, casting directors, Directors of Artistic Sign Language (DASL), interpreters, and producers will lead the conversation, including but not limited to Alexandria Wailes (Actor & DASL), Andrew Fem (Casting Director), CJ Jones (Actor, Producer, Director, DASL), Craig Fogel (Actor & Interpreter), Delbert Whetter (Producer), Lisa Zagoria (Casting Director), Maleni Chaitoo (Filmmaker, Actor, and DASL), and Raven Sutton (Content Creator and Performer.)
ASL Interpreters and CART captions will be provided.
