ASL Tour & Reception with Alexandria Wailes
Visitors in the ASL community are invited to explore the exhibition Rachel Feinstein: Maiden, Mother, Crone through a guided tour led by an expert Deaf educator. Feinstein’s work draws upon religion, fairy tales, kitsch, her experience of motherhood, and feminist ideologies, to explore how fundamental yet oppositional concepts coexist and are ceaselessly negotiated in art and the construction of identity. Please also join us for a pre-tour reception from 6 - 6:30 pm. All Access Programs are free of charge and require advance reservation. Please contact access@thejm.org or 212.423.3289 for more information or to register.
