ASL Tour at Home (The Jewish Museum)
Participants in the ASL community are invited to explore the exhibition Jonas Mekas: The Camera was Always Running through a guided tour led by Alexandria Wailes. The exhibition explores the breadth and import of Mekas’ life, art, and legacy in the field of the moving image. Coinciding with the centennial of his birth, the exhibition surveys Mekas' 70-year career and includes 11 films presented in an immersive environment, photography, and previously unseen archival materials. This program will be conducted through Zoom and offered without voice interpretation. Due to limited capacity ASL students will not be admitted to the program.
