American Sign Language Tour at Queens Museum
Sunday, July 31, 2022 2:00pm - 4:00pm Participants from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community are invited to explore Queens Museum with museum educator Joyce Hom. This program will feature an introduction to the Panorama of the City of New York, along with current exhibitions by Christine Sun Kim, Stephanie Dinkins, and Suzanne Lacy, highlighting their work related to social justice, community, and inequality/ justice. The program takes place onsite at Queens Museum and is free with advanced registration. About Joyce: Joyce Hom is an museum educator working within Access Programs at several museums in New York City, and is the ASL Programs Coordinator at The Jewish Museum. She received her BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
