2 day Workshop on Trauma in Deaf and Hard of hearing children
Lexington School for the Deaf is collaborating with New York School for the Deaf (Fanwood) to provide a 2 day workshop on Trauma in Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and Play therapy. Registration deadline is March 20, 2020. If you would like to register, send an email with your name, place of work, title, Deaf/HOH/Hearing, whether you are interested in CEU's or need voice interpretation. Any questions, message me. Review from past participant: "This is not a workshop you can afford to miss! Filled with in depth information about trauma and how we can incorporate play therapy techniques and tools in working with young children to adolescents. I took this workshop last year, it had changed the way I see children’s behaviors (like attention seeking type to name one) and see them with the nurture and care they all need. Definitely worth your time and money!"
